AWANA

Wednesdays @ Solid Rock 6:30 PM – 8:00 PM

What is Awana?

Awana is an international, Bible-centered children’s and youth ministry providing local churches with weekly clubs and programs.
The goal of Awana is to reach boys and girls with the gospel of Christ and to train them to serve Him.
The word AWANA stands for Approved Workman Are Not Ashamed and comes from 2 Timothy 2:15.

What does AWANA look like?

Awana is a place…just for kids!  We know that your kids will have a great time building relationships with each other and adults who care about them all while getting to know God’s Word in an in-depth and personal way.
A typical Club Night will include Opening, Worship, Award Time, Handbook Time, Large Group Time (age appropriate Bible lessons), Small Group Time including Bible memorization, Game Time and Closing.

What are the ages for AWANA?

The Awana program is divided into 4 age groups.
Puggles:  2-3 year olds
Cubbies:  4-5 year olds
                       (2 years prior to Kindergarten)
Sparks:  K-2nd grade,
T & T:  3rd-5th grade.

Who can register for AWANA?

We are currently taking registrations from our active church members first, as we have limited space for our program.  If there are still spots available, we will open those up sometime in the beginning of October.

What does AWANA cost?

Registration for Awana is $10 per child.  Uniforms for each child are:
$12 (optional) for Puggles
$13 for Cubbies & Sparks
$18 for T & T
Books are $11 each
Bags (optional) are:
$12 for Puggles
$7 each for Cubbies and Sparks
$14 for T&T
Each child is required to have a uniform and book. Bags are optional.
Awards are included in Registration cost.
We never want money to hold someone back to being a part of Awana.
Please contact Becky Cannon if you need assistance with the costs of Awana or more information about our program.
